What we collect

When you sign up for Shoti's public beta, we collect your email address and name. If you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive these from Google directly — we do not receive your Google password. We also collect anonymized usage analytics to understand how the product is being used and where to improve it.

How we use it

We use your email and name to provide access to the public beta, communicate updates and important changes to the service, and occasionally follow up with you for feedback. Usage analytics help us improve the product — they are never sold or shared with third-party advertisers.

Third-party services

Shoti is built on a small set of trusted infrastructure providers:

  • Supabase — handles authentication and stores your account data securely.
  • Vercel — hosts this website and provides anonymized web analytics.

Each of these services has their own privacy policy and processes data in accordance with applicable law.

Data retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your account and associated data within 30 days. Some data may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form for product improvement purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email us and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
