Update couldn't be installed

The desktop app downloaded an update, but installing it failed. The version you were running keeps running — nothing is lost.

fix

Retry from the update letter in the app. If the installer window itself failed after the app closed, relaunch Shoti from the Start menu — you'll be on whichever version completed last. If it fails again, download a fresh installer from shoti.ai and run it — installing over the existing version is safe and keeps your sign-in.
