Couldn't verify the download

The installer couldn't verify the download's checksum or signature, or a required tool (minisign / sha256sum) was missing.

fix

Install minisign and coreutils for full verification, then re-run; or set SHOTI_REQUIRE_SIGNATURE=1 to fail closed when minisign is absent.
