Cursor rule skipped — not in a project directory

shoti install-hooks wired Cursor's mcp.json and hooks.json but skipped writing .cursor/rules/shoti.mdc because the working directory has no .git or .cursor directory.

fix

Run shoti install-hooks again from your project root (the directory that contains .git). The rule file is per-repo, not global.
